About the role
Principal Architects provide deep business and technical expertise across all focus areas in the cloud.
They act as thought leaders and guide clients to ensure high value from technology investments.
The role involves acting as a technical authority, selecting appropriate technologies, and driving the adoption of Spec-Driven Development and AI-assisted workflows.
The role also includes managing a team of architects and engineers, escalating issues, and providing recommendations for performance reviews and promotions.
What you'll be doing
- Confidently discuss every stage of the technology adoption cycle, from the CEO to the developer, across multiple technical domains.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, guiding and challenging them to ensure high value from technology investments.
- Provide oversight to project teams to ensure technical outcomes align with customer business problems.
- Work with Engagement Managers to manage project scope and delivery quality.
- Participate in the sales process, typically in a pre-sales capacity.
- Work alongside Account Executives and Presales Architects to scope and support statements of work for clients.
