Role Overview

The Real-Time Intelligence team in Microsoft Fabric provides real-time ingestion, streaming, event processing, and observability capabilities.
The Eventstream team owns the connectivity and streaming foundation for bringing high-volume event data into Microsoft Fabric.
The Principal Product Manager will lead the Eventstream Kafka endpoint product area.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and success measures for the Eventstream Kafka endpoint area.
- Lead the area from customer discovery through general availability and growth.
- Prioritize platform capabilities, user experience, reliability, scale, and interoperability investments.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Security, and other teams.
- Develop competitive strategy using customer insights, telemetry, and market analysis.
- Build customer and partner relationships and translate streaming requirements into product direction.
- Validate solutions through previews and design partnerships.
- Drive adoption through positioning, field readiness, technical storytelling, and go-to-market planning.
