- Supports the business by communicating team resource loading and skill requirements to the direct supervisor.
- Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences.
- Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training.
- Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes.
- Works to resolve inter discipline, vendor, and customer issues.
- Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all HSE requirements.
- Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, and makes recommendations.
- Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information.
- May review similar documentation and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports.
- Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as ensuring project scope clarity, preparing engineering drawings, and participating in project reviews.
Requirements
- Trade Apprenticeship, Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mechanical/Piping discipline.
- Experience in Brownfield & Greenfield in both onshore & offshore projects.
- Proven experience of detailed piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies.
- Extensive design experience in the relevant discipline, and experience managing and leading multi disciplinary projects and teams.
- Proficiency in S3D & E3D, AUTOCAD, LFM.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Trade Apprenticeship, Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mechanical/Piping discipline.
Industry Specific Knowledge
- Experience in Brownfield & Greenfield in both onshore & offshore projects.
- Proven experience of detailed piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry.
- Extensive design experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, and, where relevant, experience managing and leading multi disciplinary projects and teams.
IT Skills
