Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, platform engineering, software engineering, or related technology roles.
• 4+ years of hands-on GitHub Enterprise experience covering repository management, governance, security controls, branch protection, administration, and adoption.
• Deep expertise in GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation, including reusable workflows, self-hosted runners, deployment pipelines, and release automation.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Groovy and/or Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and automation frameworks.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices including security scanning, secrets management, policy enforcement, supply chain security, vulnerability management, and compliance automation.
• Strong understanding of Git, SDLC, CI/CD architecture, cloud-native deployment, Infrastructure as Code, reliability, observability, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to improve developer productivity and adoption of best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale DevOps platforms in regulated environments, preferably financial services.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture, governance, security, and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Work arrangement

• Employees work in the office at least three days per week, with flexibility to work from home two days per week.
• Some roles may require additional in-office time or different expectations.

Schedule

• The listed working hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Drive the enterprise GitHub developer platform and improve developer productivity.
• Implement secure and scalable DevSecOps solutions across the software delivery lifecycle.
• Establish engineering standards and enable modern software delivery through automation and platform engineering practices.
• Design, implement, and support large-scale engineering platforms and automation solutions.
• Administer GitHub Enterprise repositories, governance, security controls, branch protection, and organization configuration.
• Design reusable GitHub Actions workflows, self-hosted runners, deployment pipelines, and release automation.
• Develop platform tooling, integrations, and operational workflows using scripting and automation frameworks.
• Integrate development platforms, security tools, cloud services, and enterprise systems using APIs and webhooks.
• Implement security scanning, secrets management, policy enforcement, vulnerability management, and compliance automation in CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with engineering teams to accelerate software delivery and adoption of engineering best practices.
