Role Overview
Lead technical strategy and execution for high-visibility client product work.
Combine strategy, architecture, AI engineering, and executive collaboration to move ideas from concept to production.
The role is positioned as a Tech Principal and lead engineer within forward-deployed pods.
Delivery Approach
- Use a 3/3/3 delivery rhythm: three days for product concept, three weeks for a working prototype, and three months for a production-grade minimum lovable product.
- Adapt the delivery tempo to the complexity of regulated platforms, integration-heavy systems, and greenfield applications.
- Use AI throughout specification, design, build, test, and operations.
Team and Leadership
- Work in forward-deployed pods with a Product Strategist, Experience Designer, and Forward-Deployed Engineers.
- Lead architecture, delivery cadence, and technical commercial choices as the pod's lead engineer.
- Lead across multiple pods on larger programmes involving product innovation, modernization, engineering, or data and AI.
Client and Commercial Work
- Run concept sprints with client executives, product managers, and designers.
- Turn broad ambitions into scoped and testable work with agreed success measures.
- Partner with account leads on technical narratives, proposals, pricing parameters, and new pursuits.
- Own technical scope in proposals and present technical positions to clients.
- Set technical direction for prototypes and determine what to build, fake, or buy.
Required Profile
- Experience integrating strategy, architecture, AI engineering, and executive collaboration.
- Ability to make autonomous decisions on architecture, technology stacks, pod composition, commercial tolerances, and technical positions.
- Ability to deliver work for regulated industries with data-residency requirements under PDPL.
Additional Context
- Arabic-language proficiency is an asset but is not a strict requirement.
- The role is anchored in Riyadh and supports digital work across Saudi Arabia.
Working in KSA
- Work across Saudi Arabia's government transformation, financial services, energy, retail, public-sector, and portfolio-company engagements.
- Expect client-facing delivery in regulated industries and environments with data-residency requirements.
