- Lead the origination, evaluation, structuring, negotiation and execution of European infrastructure investments
- Source and originate opportunities across digital infrastructure, conventional power, renewable energy, transportation and related sectors
- Drive origination through relationships with sponsors, corporates, fund managers, advisers and management teams
- Lead Investment Committee discussions and present recommendations to Senior Management and Investment Committees
- Lead due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing processes
- Monitor portfolio investments and support value creation and asset management initiatives
- Contribute to portfolio construction, capital allocation and broader Real Assets strategy
- Mentor junior professionals and support development of the European infrastructure platform
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant investment experience
- Demonstrable buyside direct infrastructure investing experience is essential
- Experience across core plus and value add infrastructure strategies, including greenfield and brownfield assets
- Proven recent track record of originating, leading and successfully completing European infrastructure transactions
- Deep understanding of European infrastructure markets and investment dynamics
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis capabilities
- Strong commercial judgement and investment decision making skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities

The Opportunity
- We are seeking an experienced Principal, European Infrastructure to join our growing Real Assets Department.
- The role focuses on minority direct investments alongside partners, co investments and other private infrastructure opportunities across European infrastructure markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the origination, evaluation, structuring, negotiation and execution of European infrastructure investments
- Source and originate opportunities across digital infrastructure, conventional power, renewable energy, transportation and related sectors
- Drive origination through relationships with sponsors, corporates, fund managers, advisers and management teams
- Lead Investment Committee discussions and present recommendations to Senior Management and Investment Committees
- Lead due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, documentation and closing processes

Requirements
