Principal Engineer, Technical Support– PowerMax Support

As a Principal Engineer, Technical Support within the PowerMax Support organization, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced technical expertise and resolving complex issues across Dell's enterprise storage portfolio.

You will collaborate with enterprise customers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support mission-critical storage environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and customer satisfaction.

• Provide expert-level technical support for Dell PowerMax storage solutions – via phone, web, chat or email. Diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, configuration, and performance-related issues.
• Leverage advanced troubleshooting methodologies, diagnostic tools, and analytical techniques to efficiently identify root causes and drive timely resolutions for both known and emerging issues.
• Support a broad range of storage technologies and customer environments, including SAN architectures, local and remote replication, RAID technologies, distributed workloads, and associated infrastructure components.
• Partner closely with engineering, product teams, and cross-functional support organizations to resolve critical customer escalations, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous product and process improvements.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary point of contact for customers, ensuring effective communication, proactive engagement, and a best-in-class support experience.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, technical mentoring, and the ongoing enhancement of support readiness across the organization.
