Validation Engineer

As a Validation Engineer , you will be responsible for the development and support of automation software used to configure, validate, audit, and collect asset information during the manufacturing and deployment of Dell enterprise rack-based offerings.

You will work with cross-functional teams — including Marketing, Architecture, System Engineering, Sales, Support, Integration, and Validation — on cloud computing rack-based solutions in a fast-paced, "start-up" environment .

You will:

• Lead the integration of several software tool suites used for system configuration, system updates, system management, and integration validation.
• Develop Linux shell scripts, Perl, and Python packages to support testing and deployment activities across different environments.
• Collaborate with Dell Product Group to streamline the delivery of packaged VMware-based appliances into GSP-RI rack-based offerings.
• Support sample demand builds and coordinate priorities across all GSP-RI business bases, including performing system concept evaluations, proof-of-concept builds, performance benchmarking, power measurements, and stress-testing.
• Help expand GIS-RI technology acceptance both within and beyond the existing customer base by creating products that integrate into customer environments and can be deployed, updated, and managed seamlessly.
