Role Overview
Guide the development, implementation, and execution of engineering programs supporting safe and reliable operation of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
Ensure governance, oversight, and control of engineering programs.
Engineering Program Development
- Develop engineering programs in line with regulatory requirements and the licensing basis.
- Develop actions to control equipment degradation within acceptable design limits and optimize equipment service life.
- Create long-term plans, policies, processes, procedures, guidelines, and arrangements for program performance management.
- Lead updates to program documents and procedures using reference plant and industry best practices.
- Guide software tool development and verify baseline database data for security and governance.
- Review corresponding programs for Shin Kori Units 3 and 4 against BNPP objectives and conditions.
- Develop procedures and guidelines that enable Maintenance and Operations personnel to execute programs safely.
Program Implementation and Execution
- Provide technical expertise to plant personnel implementing engineering programs.
- Lead collection and communication of engineering program results.
- Implement concepts and techniques that improve equipment reliability and compliance with engineering codes and standards.
