Job Overview
Provides solutions to atypical or infrequently occurring document management problems using established practices and procedures.
Directly impacts the quality of team work and communicates technical document control information to the team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Gain experience in the iDocs work area and develop technical skills to complete assigned work.
- When acting as Lead Document Controller, direct document management teams and coordinate discipline interfaces.
- Develop the document management execution plan and associated work instructions.
- Set up the project EDMS platform to meet client and company technical requirements.
- Manage staffing plans and project budgets for document management activities.
- Advise project management on document management issues and interface requirements.
- Facilitate the flow of technical information through the EDMS and maintain the master document register.
- Supervise document management personnel and provide training on procedures and systems.
- Participate in audits, issue status reports, support handover and turnover, archive records, and provide lessons learned.
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent diploma is required.
- Computer Science education is preferred.
- At least 10–15 years of document management experience with a major contractor or consultant is required.
- Knowledge of EDMS software, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and industry-utilized EDMS tools is required.
- Experience with technical activities, including onshore and offshore operations, is required.
- Leadership expertise, organizational ability, communication skills, business acumen, and decision-making capability are required.
- Certified iDocs Trainer is preferred.
Reporting and Interfaces
- Reports to the Project Lead Document Management, Project Engineering Manager, or Project Manager, and functionally to the Department Manager.
- Liaises with Lead Document Management, Project Engineering, Project Management, and the Department Manager.
- Supervises assigned Document Controllers.
