Senior Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Own the supply chain function within the Project Management Team and lead project procurement strategy.
• Develop procurement execution plans covering purchasing, expediting, logistics, communications, and project goals.
• Interface with clients, vendors, stakeholders, project teams, legal teams, and related functions.
• Manage procurement packages, budgets, costs, expenditures, payment approvals, change orders, claims, and disputes.
• Maintain auditable procurement files, reporting, approval cycles, project records, and schedule compliance.
• Oversee supply chain activities, quality of deliverables, project reviews, corrective actions, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline, or HSD/GED/IGCSE with 6 years of relevant experience.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• Work independently with minimal guidance and manage priorities across multiple projects.
• Manage high procurement volumes within tight timelines and monitor costs and agreed targets.
• Apply knowledge to standard and nonstandard situations, identify solutions, and support teamwork and coaching.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional procurement qualification is preferred.
• Knowledge of database software such as SPMAT or Oracle is preferred.
