We are seeking a Senior
Downstream Oil & Gas Consultant
to lead the domain requirements for a major Value Chain Optimization (VCO) deployment for a leading National Energy provider.
This is a high-level advisory role focused on domain leadership and stakeholder alignment, rather than technical architecture.
Domain Authority
Serve as the primary business authority for the integrated value chain and downstream optimization.
Requirement Ownership
Own and validate end-to-end business requirements across refining, blending, allocation, distribution, and commercial performance.
Value Chain Alignment
Ensure downstream optimization strategies are fully aligned with upstream production and planning inputs.
Stakeholder Interface
Act as the lead interface with refinery engineers, planning economists, operations leaders, and executive sponsors.
Solution Validation
Drive scope prioritization and support UAT readiness from a business-first perspective.
Required Profile
- **Expertise:**
- 10+ years of deep downstream expertise with a focus on integrated planning.
- **Track Record:**
- Proven experience on VCO or integrated planning programs for major energy operators or NOCs.
- **Economics:**
- Strong command of refining economics, blending, and commercial performance drivers.
- **Consultative Skills:**
- Ability to engage credibly at the executive and operational levels.
- **Regional Experience:**
- Prior delivery experience within the
Gcc
is strongly preferred.
