Role overview
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Principal Aviation Analyst for aviation forecasting, demand modelling, capacity analysis, air traffic assessments, and strategic airport planning.
The role provides technical leadership and advisory solutions to airport operators, government entities, investors, and aviation stakeholders.
The analyst will work across multidisciplinary teams and mentor analysts and junior consultants.
Responsibilities
- Lead aviation demand forecasting and modelling assignments and conduct passenger, aircraft movement, cargo, and airport capacity forecasts.
- Develop airport simulation, forecasting, and network planning models using recognised methodologies and CAST simulation software.
- Undertake terminal planning, airfield planning, capacity assessments, operational performance reviews, and aviation market analyses.
- Validate datasets, assumptions, and modelling outputs, then prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, identify risks, and support delivery to time, budget, and quality requirements.
- Advise airport operators, aviation authorities, governments, and private-sector clients through technical discussions and stakeholder workshops.
- Support proposals, business development, mentoring, and capability development in aviation forecasting, modelling, and analytics.
