Principal Architect, Data & Analytics
The role of Principal Architect, Data & Analytics, will play a pivotal role in strategic data & analytics initiatives. This role will lead a team of technical leads and engineers focused on tools and technologies such as Azure Synapse, PowerBI, Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and other related technologies. Responsibilities include developing and executing the organization's data & analytics strategy, managing related processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing advanced analytics techniques, deploying data visualization tools, staying updated on industry trends, and providing leadership to the data and analytics team to foster continuous learning and development. This role will provide thought leadership in data & analytics, Analytics cloud management, technology leadership, cloud governance, security, and self-service management. Also, providing guidance and mentorship to a group of data & analytics leads and engineers.
What you will do
- Develop and execute the organization's Data & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities where data-driven insights can improve decision-making, performance, and business outcomes.
- Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data architectures, analytics platforms, and reporting solutions that support enterprise needs.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and governance of analytics technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance data accessibility and business intelligence capabilities.
- Ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards are maintained across all analytics processes, systems, and initiatives.
- Provide strategic oversight of analytics programs and projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines while proactively managing risks and dependencies.
- Establish robust project governance practices, including change management, scope control, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.
