About the Role

Requirements
- BA in Special Educational Needs
- Proven experience as a SENCO or in a significant SEND leadership role
- Holds or working towards a recognised SENCO/Inclusion qualification (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of SEND practice, interventions and inclusive teaching strategies

About the Role
- This is a full time position in which the successful candidate will lead and develop provision for pupils with additional learning needs, working collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies to ensure high quality support and inclusive practice across the primary phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage provision for students with special educational needs and additional learning needs across the primary school

- Work in partnership with parents, teachers and external professionals to support student outcomes
- Lead review meetings and contribute to multi agency collaboration where appropriate
- Support the development and implementation of the school’s inclusion and SEND strategy
- Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant local and international SEND guidance
- Contribute to safeguarding and pastoral support for vulnerable students
- Support the Senior Management Team in driving an inclusive school culture and wider school improvement priorities
About You
- Holds a BA in Special Educational Needs
- Has proven experience as a SENCO or in a significant SEND leadership role
- Holds, or is working towards, a recognised SENCO/Inclusion qualification (desirable)
- Has strong knowledge of SEND practice, interventions and inclusive teaching strategies
- Has experience working collaboratively with parents and external agencies
- Demonstrates strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
- Is committed to high standards, inclusion and improving outcomes for all learners
