- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the Primary curriculum
- Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science and the wider curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Use assessment effectively to monitor pupil progress and plan next steps
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, presentation and pupil outcomes
- Support pupils' personal, social and emotional development
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to reports, meetings and school events
- Work collaboratively with year group colleagues, phase leaders and the wider teaching team
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through assemblies, trips, enrichment activities and school events
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Primary curriculum (KS1 KS2)
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Strong classroom management skills
- Effective communication with parents and colleagues
