About the School

  • Compass International School Doha provides a premium British education to expatriate and local Qatari families.
  • Three campuses: Al Themaid and Madinat Khalifa (Early Years to Secondary), Gharaffa (Primary, ages 3 11).
  • Offers a bespoke British curriculum, IGCSEs, AS and A levels, and the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13.

About You

  • Able to adapt quickly to a fast paced international environment.
  • Possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and ideally two years of teaching experience.
  • Committed and creative, reflective on own practice to provide memorable learning experiences.
  • Keen to collaborate and share specialist expertise, building strong relationships with parents and students.
  • Meet visa related restrictions for Qatar: bachelor's degree in education or degree plus PGCE/QTS gained through face to face study at a bricks and mortar institution.

Experience / Qualifications Sought

  • Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education.
  • Essential: Teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE/PGDE).
  • Desirable: Two years of teaching experience.
  • Desirable: Range of teaching experience across different year groups.
  • Desirable: Good working knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
  • Desirable: Strong classroom practice and behaviour management skills.
  • Desirable: Teaching within International Schools.
