The Pre-Sales consultant is the single owner of everything that happens between a client expressing interest and a contract being signed.
You will lead all RFP, RFI and tender responses, own solution scoping and commercial packaging, and be the technical-commercial bridge between clients and our delivery teams.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that will directly shape AIQU's win rate and revenue growth.
Bid & Proposal Management
- Own end-to-end RFP, RFI and tender responses across all service lines
- Own the full proposal narrative — research, write and package RFP responses independently, with inputs from sales and leadership as needed
- Maintain a bid calendar and ensure no opportunity is missed or under-resourced
Solution Scoping & Commercials
- Lead solution design workshops and scoping sessions with prospective clients
- Translate client requirements into effort estimates, delivery models, and commercial proposals
- Structure pricing and T&M rate cards in line with AIQU's billing model
Client Engagement
- Own and deliver capability presentations and proof-of-concept coordination
- Support the Sales Leaders in advancing pipeline from qualification to closure
Collateral & Capability Library
- Build and continuously maintain a library of credentials, case studies, capability decks and reusable proposal modules
- Ensure all client-facing materials are on-brand, current and differentiated
- Develop standard templates for common engagement types to accelerate future bids
Pipeline & Reporting
- Track pre-sales pipeline, bid status and win/loss outcomes
- Report weekly to the Head of Technology Services on active pursuits, conversion rates, and capacity
- Feed intelligence from lost bids back into proposition development
Experience
- 8–10 years in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or bid management role within an IT services or technology company
- Demonstrable experience owning and winning RFP responses in the UAE or broader GCC market
- Background in one or more of: managed services, digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, or application development
Skills
- Strong commercial acumen — comfortable with pricing models, margin analysis and T&M structures
- Excellent written communication — you can turn a complex solution into a crisp, persuasive narrative
- Structured and organised — you thrive under bid deadlines and manage multiple pursuits simultaneously
- Confident presenter — comfortable leading workshops and demos with C-level and technical audiences
