Role Overview

  • Ideal Solutions is looking for a Pre Sales Technical Specialist to join our team and support our growing IT solutions, client engagement, and business development activities.
  • This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong technical understanding with client facing communication, solution positioning, proposal preparation, and presales support.
  • Location: Doha, Qatar. Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Work Arrangement: Office based, with occasional client meetings.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support sales activities through technical consultation and solution design.
  • Conduct client discovery sessions to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Prepare technical proposals, presentations, quotations, and Proof of Concepts.
  • Recommend suitable IT solutions based on client needs and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
  • Support client meetings, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and solution presentations.
  • Research market trends, identify new opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and sales activity records.
  • Represent the company in meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Pre Sales, Business Development, Technical Solutions, or a related IT role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, systems, and technologies.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, demonstrations, and POCs.
  • Ability to gather client requirements and translate them into practical business solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Arabic are required.
  • Experience in market research, lead generation, and partner engagement is an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.

Additional Notes

  • This position is open only for candidates currently based in Qatar with a valid QID.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who apply early and meet the required Pre Sales and IT solutions experience.
