Position Overview
Pre-Sales Engineer role focused on ELV, low-current, networking, security, and CCTV solutions.
The position is located in Riyadh, KSA, within the IT services sector.
The role requires 3–6 years of experience in pre-sales, system integration, or technical sales.
Compensation
- Monthly total package is SAR 10,000–15,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate RFP, RFQ, and tender documents into technical networking, security, and CCTV solutions.
- Prepare BOQs, technical compliance sheets, and system architecture or design drawings.
- Select products and vendors according to project scope and budget.
- Conduct site surveys and gather technical requirements.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for quotations, certifications, and technical support.
- Respond to tender clarification queries and support technical proposals.
- Ensure solutions comply with specifications, regulations, and applicable standards.
- Transfer technical documentation to project or implementation teams after order confirmation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, IT Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to six years of relevant pre-sales, system integration, or technical sales experience.
- Experience with consultants, contractors, and government or private-sector clients is preferred.
- A valid driving license may be required for site visits.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, switching, routing, structured cabling, firewalls, VPN, and NAC.
- Technical knowledge or hands-on experience with CCTV/IP surveillance, VMS, and access control.
- Skills in BOQ preparation, technical proposal writing, and reading electrical or ELV drawings.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
- CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Hikvision, Axis, Milestone, PSP, or CPP certifications are a plus.
- AutoCAD and Visio knowledge is advantageous.
