- Attend client meetings, present BMS solutions, and support during clarifications or tender evaluations.
- Create quotes, bill of quantities, and sales proposals on behalf of the sales team.
- Liaise with vendors for technical qualification and solution validation.
- Follow up on pending items and ensure thorough documentation for handover to implementation team.

- Experience in pre sales technical support for Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Knowledge of BMS components (controllers, sensors, field devices, integration gateways)
- Ability to prepare BOQ and technical proposals
- Strong communication and presentation skills

Purpose
- The Pre sales Engineer will collaborate with the sales support or account team by acting as technical experts in customer presentations. They determine technical requirements to meet client goals and act as liaison between sales/business development and engineering groups.
Work Overview
- Provide pre sales technical support with a primary focus on Building Management Systems (BMS), including solution design, BOQ preparation, and technical documentation.
- Work with vendors to select appropriate BMS systems (controllers, sensors, field devices, integration gateways), as well as FDAS panels, switches, and structured cabling.
- Review project requirements and assist the sales team in preparing technically compliant BMS driven proposals.
- Attend client meetings, present BMS solutions, and support during clarifications or tender evaluations.
- Ensure proposed BMS and related designs align with relevant standards, energy efficiency requirements, and project specifications.
- Improve negotiations and contract closing by providing BMS focused technical support to the Sales Team.
- Create quotes, bill of quantities per design principles, and sales proposals on behalf of the sales team.
- Liaise with vendors for technical qualification and solution validation.
- Provide scoping support to sales representatives and substantiate solutions offered to prospects.
- Follow up on and close out all pending items and ensure thorough documentation for handover to implementation team.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by Management.
