Pre-Sales Engineer

Job Scope

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in technical and solutions design for company products and services.
• Develop account penetration strategies and product, service, and sales plans with the Sales team.
• Qualify opportunities and support technical qualification, solution proposals, high-level designs, and demonstrations.
• Run proofs of concept and requests for proposals and support closing opportunities from a pre-sales and implementation perspective.
• Build partner and customer relationships in support of sales objectives and lead technical sales calls.
• Manage adoption, integration, and value generation for products and services within customer environments and related IT infrastructure.
• Architect and present tailored infrastructure solutions and lead demos, technical workshops, and production implementation services.
• Deliver technical enablement to partners and clients and guide clients on governance, AI lifecycle, and cloud-native data strategies.
• Complete pre-sales documentation, respond to assigned after-hours support queries, and use Salesforce CRM for sales process management.

Position Requirements

• Strong knowledge of backup, replication, disaster recovery, and storage technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, and other Veeam suite products.
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Understanding of cloud-native backup and recovery solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with SAN or NAS storage, networking, and compute infrastructure.
• Knowledge of data protection strategies, retention policies, and compliance requirements.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
