- Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new market opportunities
- Lead pursuits, including teaming, proposals, interviews, pricing strategies, and go/no go decisions
- Serve as Project Principal or Project Manager on strategic projects
- Ensure high quality project delivery, client satisfaction, and effective resource planning
- Promote quality assurance and technical excellence across the practice
- Manage regional financial performance, including revenue, utilization, profitability, and forecasting
- Oversee business planning and operating budgets
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain top talent while fostering a collaborative, high performing culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Approximately 20+ years of progressively responsible experience in consulting or public sector
- Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth
- Strong operational and financial management skills
- Established relationships within the Southern California transportation market
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Professional registration preferred

Job Summary
- TYLin is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial City Solutions Practice Manager to lead and grow our Los Angeles transportation planning and advisory practice.
- The Practice Manager will drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, oversee project delivery, and lead a high performing team.
How You'll Make an Impact

What We're Looking For

Additional Information
- Base compensation range of $216,000 – $260,000 annually for this position and local market.
