Role Overview
The role oversees electrical systems and power-generation equipment within a cement plant.
The position supports uninterrupted power supply, troubleshooting, energy efficiency, and electrical safety compliance.
The employer prefers candidates currently based in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain generators, transformers, switchgear, distribution panels, and related electrical systems.
- Monitor plant power consumption and maintain a stable, uninterrupted power supply.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, coordinate repairs, and respond to electrical emergencies.
- Perform inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and safety checks.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and coordinate efficiency improvements with other departments.
- Maintain maintenance, repair, equipment-performance, and energy-consumption records.
- Prepare reports and provide technical guidance to technicians and maintenance staff.
- Coordinate power requirements and maintain contingency plans for power outages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 6–8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the cement industry.
