Job Summary
The role is for a Lead Electrical Technician (CAT A) in Qatar.
The technician will lead and coordinate electrical maintenance activities in a large-scale industrial or project environment.
The role combines team supervision with hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities and technician teams.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and complete effective repairs.
- Supervise and allocate work based on priorities and work orders.
- Monitor equipment condition and performance and report abnormalities.
- Carry out inspections, testing, and functional checks of electrical systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LV/MV electrical distribution systems.
- Work on switchgear, MCCs, transformers, generators, UPS, lighting, and power distribution systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, operations, and other maintenance disciplines.
- Support shutdown, start-up, testing, commissioning, and emergency maintenance activities.
- Maintain records, ensure safe work practices, and provide technical guidance to technicians.
