Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive verification and validation test plans for distributed battery storage systems, DC-DC converters, AC-DC stages, and solar MPPT power hardware.
- Good understanding of power electronics conversion and control.
- Review schematics and PCB layouts to assess testability.
- Good root-cause analysis on hardware bugs, power component failures, and control anomalies during rapid prototyping and test cycles.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, electronic loads, differential probes, and programmable power supplies to safely perform high-power testing.
- Able to develop functional test benches and automated verification tests for power electronics conversion systems.
- Good technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in power electronics development and testing.
- Proficient understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power electronics converter development.
- Knowledge of industrial environmental reliability standards.
- Hands-on experience debugging and validating embedded and electrical systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and similar tools.
