Responsibilities
- Assemble, build, test, verify all of our battery and power conversion hardware.
- Work with engineering team to help refine speed and quality of production steps.
- Some field travel to remote desert sites for solar panel and battery installation.
- Help develop and write install instructions for future field teams to shorten the install times.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams of design, test, and production engineers to refine new power electronics and energy storage hardware.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional hands-on experience in mechanical service work or builds of some type (internship experience is applicable).
- Hands-on experience with debugging, testing, and validating mechanical systems using common hand and power tools.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Familiarity with solar arrays as input power sources.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery handling, safety, and usage.
