Role Overview
RTX is seeking a technically strong Power Electronics Associate Manager to lead development of aircraft power conversion systems.
The role covers digital control, high-density power converters, planar magnetics, SiC and GaN devices, cross-functional delivery, and engineering team leadership.
The position is full-time and onsite in Bengaluru, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, control, and validation of LLC resonant converters, PFC circuits, and high-efficiency isolated DC/DC converters.
- Implement digital control algorithms, control-loop tuning, and PI controllers on DSP processors.
- Apply planar magnetics for high power density and thermal performance.
- Lead design reviews, debugging, and lab validation under aerospace operating conditions.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, mechanical, layout, and customer teams.
- Supervise and mentor engineers while managing deliverables, resources, conflicts, goals, reviews, and progress.
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and customer presentations.
- Ensure compliance with aviation standards and safety regulations.
