Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL DBA / DynamoDB Database Administrator with 6-10 years of experience in database administration, performance tuning, high availability, backup and recovery, and cloud database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing mission-critical PostgreSQL and DynamoDB environments, ensuring optimal database performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
PostgreSQL Database Administration
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PostgreSQL database environments.
Manage database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Configure and support PostgreSQL replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions.
Monitor database health, storage utilization, and performance metrics.
Perform database migrations, patches, and version upgrades.
Manage database security, user roles, and access controls.
Conduct capacity planning and database growth forecasting.
DynamoDB Database Administration
Design, implement, and maintain DynamoDB database solutions.
