- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team

Description
- The Department of Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow.
- The successful candidate will conduct independent and collaborative research within Dr. Adviti Naik's research program.
- The appointment is for 1 year and is renewable up to three (3) years based on performance and continued funding, located in Doha, Qatar, with a starting date of August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead experimental execution of the grant objectives.
- Contribute to high impact peer reviewed publications.
- Present findings at national and international conferences.
- Assist in the development of follow on grant applications.
- Participate in cross institutional collaborations.
- Support training and mentorship of undergraduate researchers.
- Assist in laboratory management.
Qualifications
- PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated research productivity through peer reviewed publications.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
- Experience in proteomics and bioinformatics analysis is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
