About the Role
Ibn Sina Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Podiatrist to perform comprehensive foot and ankle examinations, diagnose and treat podiatric conditions, and provide preventive care.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive examinations of the feet, ankles, and lower limbs
- Diagnose and manage foot and ankle conditions, injuries, infections, and deformities
- Treat common podiatric conditions such as plantar fasciitis, ingrown toenails, diabetic foot complications, corns, calluses, and fungal infections
- Conduct minor podiatric procedures and wound care treatments
- Assess and manage diabetic foot risks and provide preventive care
- Prescribe and recommend orthotics, footwear modifications, and rehabilitation plans
- Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Request and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Refer patients to specialists when required
- Adhere to DOH Abu Dhabi regulations, clinical guidelines, and infection control standards
Requirements
- Valid podiatry license
- Experience in podiatric procedures and wound care
- Knowledge of DOH Abu Dhabi regulations

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct minor podiatric procedures and wound care treatments as permitted by licensing regulations.
- Assess and manage diabetic foot risks and provide preventive care.
- Prescribe and recommend orthotics, footwear modifications, and rehabilitation plans.
- Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Request and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies.

- Refer patients to orthopedic surgeons, vascular specialists, endocrinologists, or other specialists when required.
- Adhere to Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi regulations, clinical guidelines, and infection control standards.
