Responsibilities
- Perform laser hair removal and other approved laser procedures according to physician orders and clinic protocols
- Assess patients' skin type, medical history, and suitability for treatment
- Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, possible side effects, and post treatment care
- Obtain informed consent before performing procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and laser equipment before each procedure
- Ensure proper calibration, operation, and maintenance of laser devices
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, recognizing and responding appropriately to adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Adhere to infection prevention, sterilization, and occupational health and safety policies
- Collaborate closely with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients on skincare products, treatment plans, and follow up appointments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all clinic policies and ethical standards
