Media City is seeking a Senior PMO Specialist – Strategic Projects & Transformation to support the planning, governance, tracking, and reporting of strategic and transformation initiatives across the organization.
The role will work closely with the PMO and business stakeholders to ensure effective project execution, alignment with organizational strategy, and adherence to PMO governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, tracking, and reporting of strategic and transformation initiatives across the assigned portfolio.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable projects, deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
- Ensure project alignment with organizational strategy, PMO frameworks, governance standards, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Develop and deliver project status reports, executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance updates for senior management.
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and key milestones, escalating matters as required.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration across Strategy, Creative, Production, Marketing, Operations, and other relevant functions.
- Support resource allocation, workload management, and prioritization across projects.
- Promote the adoption of PMO best practices, methodologies, templates, and standardized processes.
- Support project teams through PMO guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches.
- Support budget tracking, project controls, quality assurance, and governance compliance.
- Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in project management, PMO, strategic projects, transformation, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and project reporting tools.
- Experience in project planning, governance, risk management, resource management, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
