Role Overview
The PMO Lead will establish and mature project management, Lean transformation, and financial governance practices for the Cloud, Compute, and Infrastructure organization.
The role partners across Network, Identity, Cyber, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, CTO, CISO, and business stakeholders.
The role is accountable for PMO governance, separation programs, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and financial governance.
PMO Governance
- Design, launch, align, and evolve the newly developed PMO team.
- Drive organization-wide project governance through workshops focused on structure, visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Design and sustain a centralized SharePoint PMO repository and user guides.
- Integrate project updates into leadership tracking tools and establish governance cadences, reporting standards, and escalation paths.
Separation Programs
- Lead the SMO Clone and Convey Account Transferability Program to migrate 78 cloud accounts or subscriptions.
- Partner across technical teams to align stakeholders on a unified framework for seamless VRF transfers.
- Establish program structure, dependency management, executive reporting, risk escalation, and accountability practices.
- Support transfer execution, cost reduction, reduced reliance on corporate guardrails, and exit from Transition Service Agreements.
Operational Excellence
- Apply Lean methodology and Generative AI to improve quality, speed, efficiency, discovery, and problem solving.
- Lead demand-management transformation for CTO and CISO organizations across a portfolio of more than 100 simultaneous projects.
- Orchestrate the CloudOps Zero Outage Lean event using incident lookbacks, data capture, root-cause prompting, and structured problem solving.
- Lead JDI remediation of Change Management deficiencies and establish rigorous SOX governance.
- Orchestrate Cloud Operations Kaizen events and define a future-state roadmap tied to SQDC metrics.
Financial Governance
- Design and implement a Financial Accountability Framework for CTO Solution Architecture projects.
- Provide transparency into commitments and receivables and establish invoice submission and financial review protocols.
- Identify and stop unnecessary corporate infrastructure charges for ejected accounts.
- Resolve $1MM billing anomalies and establish KPIs for account-transfer process effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, information technology, finance, operations, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading PMO governance, enterprise technology programs, Lean transformation, operational excellence, or financial governance.
- Experience managing cloud, compute, infrastructure, separation, divestiture, or account-transfer programs across technical domains.
- Strong Lean, Kaizen, JDI, problem-solving, continuous improvement, financial governance, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Ability to use data, automation, and Generative AI to improve reporting, root-cause analysis, self-service adoption, and decisions.
- Exceptional communication, executive storytelling, workshop facilitation, documentation, and change-management skills.
Organization Context
The role sits within CTO CCI Digital Operations and reports to the CCI Digital Operations Senior Director.
The organization supports a complex enterprise technology portfolio spanning cloud, compute, infrastructure, security, and operations.
