Role Overview
The Platform Test Engineer joins a team testing Cisco SD-WAN and routing platforms.
The role validates networking features, develops Python-based test automation, troubleshoots complex issues, and improves product quality.
The position is suited to someone with strong Python and Linux skills who enjoys hands-on testing, debugging, automation, and networking technologies.
Work Arrangement
- The role is hybrid and based in Bangalore.
- The position is full-time.
- The stated experience range is 3–10 years.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing, software development, test automation, or a related engineering role.
- Strong hands-on Python skills for scripting, debugging, data processing, and automation development.
- Strong Linux operation and troubleshooting skills, including system administration fundamentals.
- Experience with SD-WAN feature testing, networking devices, controllers, and routing concepts.
- Experience with at least one of PyATS, vTest, or PyTest for automation.
- Experience designing, executing, and debugging software or system-level tests.
