Planning & Project Control Manager

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of integrated project schedules and planning activities.
• Support the execution of departmental plans, strategic initiatives, and operational workstreams.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and critical milestones.
• Track project progress, identify schedule risks and delays, and propose mitigation strategies to maintain delivery targets.
• Support project management activities, including resource planning, scheduling, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, governance processes, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective planning and operational execution.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, forecasts, and planning documentation for management review.
• Maintain accurate project records and scheduling data to support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing planning processes and project performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in planning, scheduling, project controls, or a similar role.
• Proven experience managing complex schedules and coordinating multiple workstreams within large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project management and scheduling methodologies.
• Proficiency in scheduling and project management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, venue, event, or operational projects is highly desirable.
