We are seeking a Planning Manager to join our Edmonton team.
This senior role is suited to an experienced planning professional with strong land development expertise, Alberta municipal planning knowledge, and the ability to lead planning assignments, client relationships, business development, and team growth.
What You’ll Do
As Planning Manager, you will lead Scheffer Andrew’s planning practice, support private and public sector clients, guide project delivery, mentor staff, and help grow the company’s planning and land development services across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
include:
Project Leadership
- Lead complex land development and municipal planning projects through approvals, including ASPs, outline plans, redistricting, subdivisions, and related applications.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, resources, client expectations, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Provide senior technical guidance, prepare and deliver presentations, and support public engagement with clients, municipalities, stakeholders, and approval authorities.
- Support proposals, work plans, fee estimates, budget tracking, invoicing review, and project reporting.
