- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, resources, and milestones for construction projects.
- Create and manage project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and sequencing of tasks.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors).
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure projects meet standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including plans, schedules, progress reports, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to planning and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, codes, and permits related to construction projects.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and milestones, implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering
- Minimum 8 years working experience
- 5 years in a relevant supervisory position
- 2 years GCC experience is a plus
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills
- Professional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or PMP
- Advanced understanding of project management principles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills

Job Summary
- The Planning Manager oversees all staff planning and ensures good practices in project controls and planning across projects. Highlights progress, delays, and concerns to management. Supports delay analysis and complex project controls issues.
