- Prepare project baseline schedules, detailed work programs, project timelines, and milestone plans
- Develop and update project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or approved planning tools
- Monitor project progress against approved baseline schedules and identify delays, risks, critical activities, and coordination gaps
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management, clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Coordinate with project managers, design teams, procurement, finance, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to collect progress updates
- Prepare lookahead schedules, recovery plans, delay reports, progress curves, S curves, manpower histograms, and project dashboards
- Track design deliverables, procurement activities, material approvals, site progress, and key project milestones
- Identify schedule risks, project delays, bottlenecks, and coordination gaps, and provide practical recommendations
- Support project managers in preparing recovery programs, revised schedules, mitigation plans, delay analysis, extension of time claims, and project control documentation
- Review contractor and consultant schedules to ensure alignment with project requirements and contractual obligations
- Attend project meetings, coordination meetings, progress review sessions, and planning workshops
- Maintain accurate project records, schedule updates, progress logs, correspondence, and planning documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- 6 to 10 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer or Project Control Engineer
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Experience in architecture, interior design, fit out, residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed use development projects preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers membership required or strongly preferred
- Valid and transferable Saudi Iqama preferred
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia preferred

Planning & Project Control Skills
- Proven ability to prepare, manage, and update project baseline schedules, detailed work programs, and milestone plans.
- Advanced experience in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project for project planning and schedule management.
- Strong understanding of design, fit out, construction, procurement, and project execution workflows.
- Ability to develop work breakdown structures, activity sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and critical path analysis.
- Experience in tracking project progress, identifying delays, preparing variance reports, and supporting recovery plans.
- Strong knowledge of progress reporting, project dashboards, S curves, manpower histograms, and management updates.
- Effective coordination with design, procurement, site, commercial, finance, and project management teams.
- Strong understanding of delay analysis, extension of time support, project risks, and project control documentation.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, documentation, and compliance with project requirements and company standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Strong experience in preparing baseline schedules, progress updates, lookahead plans, recovery schedules, and project reports.
- Excellent knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, delay tracking, and project control procedures.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and interior design drawings.
- Strong coordination skills with project managers, consultants, contractors, procurement, finance, and design teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project deadlines.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers membership is required or strongly preferred.
- Valid and transferable Saudi Iqama is preferred.

- AutoCAD is an advantage
- Revit / BIM knowledge is an advantage
