Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Planning Engineer
with experience in handling
bespoke and commercial
joinery projects
.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely and efficient project execution in line with production and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules for joinery and fit-out works
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution
- Track project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions
- Plan and allocate materials, manpower, and production timelines effectively
- Review shop drawings and align planning schedules with production and installation requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery
- Analyze project risks and prepare mitigation plans
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to management
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and budget constraints
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum
- 5+ years of UAE experience
- in joinery planning
- Strong understanding of
- joinery production and installation processes
- Proficiency in
Ms Project And Primavera (P6)
- and AutoCAD
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
