Job Overview
- The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering and construction projects from initiation to successful completion.
- Ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Acts as the primary technical coordinator between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering and construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project execution strategies, work schedules, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Lead project coordination meetings and communicate project objectives.
- Review engineering designs, shop drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource utilization.
- Track project progress against approved schedules.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all company HSE policies and local regulations.
- Maintain project documentation, technical records, and correspondence.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification activities.
- Prepare final documentation, as built records, and handover packages.
Qualifications
- Experience in engineering and construction project management.
- Knowledge of fitout and interior works.
- Ability to review engineering designs and shop drawings.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
