Key accountabilities
- Prepare and update budgets for offices, plants, camps, and related operations.
- Perform cost control covering quantities, expenses, delays, commitments, and variation orders.
- Prepare cost breakdowns and cash flow to identify budget deviations.
- Analyze technical drawings and prepare material and cost estimations.
- Check resource cost allocation and coordinate resolution of complex discrepancies.
- Support planning and cost-control staff working on site and resolve issues when needed.
- Analyze unusual events and resource productivity to improve planning and estimation.
- Prepare reports on planning and cost deviations and recommend cost-optimization actions.
- Coach lower-level planning and cost-control support staff.
- Use lessons learned to improve capability and reduce repeated errors.
Qualifications, experience, and skills
- An engineering degree is required.
- Primavera skills are required.
- At least five years of experience as a planning engineer is required.
- PMP, RMP, and Power BI are advantageous.
- Analytical, critical, and logical thinking capabilities are required.
- Planning and project management skills are required.
- Written and spoken English skills are required.
