Responsibilities
- Enhance short-term planning and support project controls, reporting, resource planning, and continuous improvement.
- Manage CMMS work preparation, scheduling, execution, resource assignment, material ordering, support services, work-order closeout, and reporting.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of planners and schedulers based offshore.
- Apply integrated planning across drilling and well intervention, operations, maintenance, integrity, and construction projects.
- Publish and track weekly schedules, rescheduled activities, backlog reduction, and priority work.
- Support shutdown worklists and level-four shutdown plans, reviewing critical paths, durations, and conflicts.
Educational Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education, tradesman or technologist qualifications, or an engineering degree.
Experience Profile
- At least 15 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience, including 5 years supervising planners or schedulers in a refinery, oil field, or petrochemical facility.
- At least 5 years of EPC project planning and controls experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience coordinating major shutdown or turnaround projects in an offshore production facility or refinery.
Competencies and Skills
- Strong written and spoken English and good interpersonal skills for a multicultural, highly dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Asset Management or another CMMS, Oracle Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
- Significant knowledge of offshore or terminal plant and equipment and maintenance systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access database skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work Setting
- The role supervises planners and schedulers based offshore and supports onshore planners with shutdown planning.
