Role Overview

A leading Dubai entity is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to handle commercial contracts and related commercial activities.

The role covers tendering, change management, contract preparation, negotiation, procurement, and supplier management.

Compensation

  • Salary is AED 45,000 per month plus benefits.

Location

  • The role is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide procurement and contractual advice while safeguarding company interests and contractual compliance.
  • Review contract clauses to identify, address, and minimize contract-related issues.
  • Manage tendering and awarding procedures to select qualified contractors.
  • Prepare management reports on MEP initiatives against plans, budgets, and sales.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and provide budgetary cost advice.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
  • Analyze spending and implement procurement cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Draft and review contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and process purchase requests and supplier briefs.

Requirements

  • Graduate in supply chain, contracts management, quantity surveying, or a similar field.
  • Certification in procurement or contract management, such as Certified Public Procurement (CPP).
  • Project management and risk management knowledge and skills are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, construction law, and relevant business law principles.
  • At least 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years negotiating, drafting, and executing complex real estate contracts.
