Position Overview
The role is Planner SPIR.
The position requires at least 8 years of experience in engineering work in petrochemical, petroleum refining, or power generation industries.
Experience and Education
- At least 4 years must have been performed as a planner or scheduler for scaffolding, insulation, painting, and refractory work, including 2 years of TSA activities.
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- The planner must understand process equipment and scaffolding codes of practice and relevant British standards.
Technical Skills
- The planner must be able to read and understand isometric, PEFS, DEP, scaffolding, insulation, painting, and small plant change drawings.
- The planner must be able to read, write, and speak English at an IELTS 6 equivalent level.
- The planner must be able to work with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Experience with QSGTL SAP, Primavera P6, resource loading, scheduling, SAP-PM, CMMS, MS Access, and other Microsoft Office applications is required.
Planning Responsibilities
- Prepare 14-, 90-, and 365-day look-ahead work plans at different levels of detail using QSGTL SAP and interface with company planners.
