Key skills for this role
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Hands-on past experience in roles such as Field Engineer, Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar is an asset.
Gold Seal Certification, PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) is an asset
5-10 years of relevant experience in planning/scheduling within the construction industry.
Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Deep understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project lifecycle stages.
Familiar with ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) construction techniques.
Knowledge of procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Effective in problem-solving, scenario planning, and performance analysis.
