About the Role
Saipem seeks a Piping & Layout Engineer for offshore vessel work in Qatar. You will perform design, verification, and study tasks, interface with project specialists, and support fabrication and commissioning.

- Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements
- Analyse technical documents to assess scope and potential risks
- Check all produced documents like design reports, technical specifications, drawings
- Write Piping and Layout methodologies / Design Premises
- Organize the work of the team under responsibility
- Monitor and report actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline activities
- Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities
- Participate to test circuit verification and field engineering during construction
Requirements
- Master's Degree/Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Field Engineering Experience to support Fabrication and Commissioning activities
- English Language skills required

Mission
- Perform technical tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, related with design, verification or study activities
- Interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsman
- Co ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem
Tasks
- Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
- Analyse technical documents (e.g. specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks
- Check all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings under responsibility
- Write the Piping and Layout methodologies / Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelines
- Organize the work of the team under responsibility
- Monitor and report actual progress including 3D / check for Discipline activities, including control of men hours and delivered documents
- Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work
- Participate to test circuit verification and field engineering during construction activities
What are we looking for?
- Education: Master's Degree/bachelor s degree in: Engineering
- Experience: Field Engineering Experience, to support Fabrication and Commissioning activities.
- Languages: English Language skills required (and any other specified by Project)
Additional Information
- Start date is as soon as possible. Position will be operated offshore on a vessel.
- Contract duration until 30.06.2027 (subject to extension according to Company needs)
