About the Role
Saipem is seeking a Subsea Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Operator for a project-based position in Qatar. The role involves operating and monitoring pre-commissioning equipment, performing routine checks, and coordinating with team members.

Responsibilities
- Ensure proper setup and alignment of equipment and connections (hoses, fittings, manifolds).
- Operate and monitor pre commissioning equipment as per procedures and supervisor’s instructions.
- Maintain safe operating pressures, flow rates, and chemical injection levels.
- Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting on pumps, compressors, and dryers.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
- Record equipment parameters and support daily operating log reporting.
- Follow safety protocols and assist in emergency response when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the equipment operating area.
Requirements
- ITI / Technical Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating pipeline pre commissioning equipment offshore/onshore
- Good communication skills in English
- Hands on experience with Centrifugal Pumps, HP Piston Pumps, Diesel Generators, Air Compressors, Desiccant Air Dryers
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety procedures
- Physically fit for onshore site conditions

Purpose Of The Position
- As Subsea Pipeline Pre Commissioning Operator, you will be part of Subsea Department within our Qatar Project.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper setup and alignment of equipment and connections (hoses, fittings, manifolds).
- Operate and monitor pre commissioning equipment as per procedures and supervisor’s instructions.
- Maintain safe operating pressures, flow rates, and chemical injection levels.
- Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting on pumps, compressors, and dryers.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
- Record equipment parameters and support daily operating log reporting.
- Follow safety protocols and assist in emergency response when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the equipment operating area.
What are we looking for?
- Education: ITI / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
- Background: Minimum 3 years of experience operating pipeline pre commissioning equipment offshore/onshore.
- Languages: Good communication skills in English.
- Technical Knowledge: Hands on experience with Centrifugal Pumps (e.g., Caprari 500m³/hr with CAT C27 Acer engine or similar), HP Piston Pumps (e.g., MIDIS/Woma 550 ARP with CAT C18 Acer or similar), Diesel Generators (e.g., Atlas Copco with Perkins 1104C engine or similar), Air Compressors (e.g., At
