Job Knowledge – Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements. Strong understanding of construction methods, critical path method scheduling, and interpretation of plans and specifications. Competent in required job skills and knowledge; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to other.

3-5 years of experience in underground pipe laying with at least 2 years in road construction. Strong knowledge of pipe laying techniques. Dependability and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. Out of town travel and work may be required. Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
