Northern Jet is seeking an experienced aviation professional to serve as a Part-Time Pilot Ground Training Instructor in the Orlando area.
This position will primarily facilitate initial and recurrent company indoctrination training for Northern Jet pilots while supporting training standardization, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Location: Orlando, Florida
Schedule: Part-Time position with flexibility in scheduling – maximum of 30 hours per week. Compensation: $25/hour up to 30 hours a week. Unique Opportunity: This is a unique opportunity for a Pilot Training Instructor who is passionate about mentorship, standardization, and developing the next generation of pilots within a growing aviation operation. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate initial and recurrent company indoctrination training for Northern Jet pilots
Present training materials in accordance with FAA requirements, company manuals, and approved training programs
Help ensure consistency and standardization across pilot training activities
Explain regulatory, operational, and company-specific information clearly and effectively
Answer pilot questions and provide practical guidance based on Part 135 operating experience
Maintain accurate attendance, completion, and training documentation
Assist with reviewing and improving training presentations and instructional materials
Support additional pilot-development activities based on experience and availability
Potentially assist with pilot candidate interviews, simulator evaluations, and assessment events
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Science, or a related field preferred
Minimum 5+ years of professional pilot experience
Part 135 operational experience preferred
Prior experience supporting pilot training, standardization, compliance, or safety programs preferred
Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, training requirements, and compliance standards
